	Environment & Safety With our long-standing commitment to the issues of safety, health and environment, we constantly undertake initiatives to ensure safe working conditions for our employees and maximum protection of our surroundings.
	The company has its own Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) where all the effluents are treated and discharged as per Pollution Control Norms. A separate ETP laboratory tests effluents and the final discharge.
	The company plant is a constituent member of the Common Secured Landfill site where its non-hazardous solid waste gets disposed. Air emissions are controlled by proper scrubbing. The company has undergone a World Bank aided `Cleaner Production Technology Programme’ organized by the Ministry of Environment & Forests and the National Productivity Council. The company has been selected as a Nodal Unit of Cleaner Production Programme for South Gujarat region. The company has shown outstanding improvement in several areas such as betterment of yield and reduction in water consumption.

	Our Director Mr. K. Srivatsan, is associated with several committees that look after the environment and safety of the entire industrial area of Ankleshwar. These committees have promoted a number of measures to preserve the environment of Ankleshwar. The company’s ETP department handles safety related activities in the company. The department conducts regular training and mock drills for its employees. The company has a general awareness and training programme for its employees on a regular basis to sensitize and equip them to conserve the world environment.
